By creating an account or using Breadwinner, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Breadwinner is a grocery insights platform designed for consumers in Botswana.

2. Service Description

Breadwinner provides receipt scanning, spending tracking, and grocery price insights. We process receipt images using optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract structured data. The accuracy of extracted data is not guaranteed — we provide manual correction tools for all scanned data.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of receipt images you upload
• You must not upload receipts that belong to others without their consent
• You must review and confirm OCR-extracted data for accuracy
• You must not attempt to manipulate, exploit, or misuse the platform
• You must provide accurate account information

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

OCR technology is not 100% accurate. Prices, item names, store names, and other extracted data may contain errors. Breadwinner highlights low-confidence fields in red and provides manual correction tools. You should verify all data before making financial decisions based on it.

5. Currency & Market

All prices are displayed in Botswana Pula (BWP). The service is designed for the Botswana retail market and may not accurately process receipts from other countries or currencies.

6. Limitation of Liability

Breadwinner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on the data provided by our service. Our maximum liability is limited to any fees you have paid to use the service.
